my happy place

Hi, my name is Helen, and I volunteer at an animal shelter  in southern Massachusetts. I have mostly grown up on islands, and prefer to be near water at all times..I am an animal lover by nature. As an infant, our family cat would sleep in my crib when I would nap, and I would snuggle into her belly. I adore animals and babies.. I have had cats, dogs, an iguana, guinea pigs, a chinchilla, hamsters, fish, and a turtle. I believe animals  and nature are  beautiful, glorious, and that we as humanity need to live in nature, and learn from our animals. So that is what this blog is supposed to be about. However, since I have an active mind, sometimes, this blog may  also be about different random things I think about. Did I mention that I feel most connected to my self and the universe when I am near or in the ocean?

  1. Hey Helen, you know what I love love, love about this blog? Is that you share the ‘out of the ordinary’ insights on living an enchanted life, and living in love.
The post on getting outside and ‘inviting’ us to make it a priority, well –
you can imagine how important that is – for natural reconnection.
YOU and this BLOG ARE AWESOME!
